Police say a Brooklyn man is wanted for attempting to abduct a 13-year-old girl.
The incident happened on Jan 12. on Cleveland Street. Police say the 13-year-old girl was approached by a man who grabbed her by the arm while holding a knife and forced her to walk with him.
Police say the girl resisted and the suspect grabbed her cellphone and ran. According to police, the victim told them the man threatened to sexually assault and possibly abduct her before running away.
Police say the man is in his 30s or 40s with facial hair, and was last seen wearing a khaki-style tan jacket, dark blue jeans, black boots and a black baseball cap.
They say no arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
