Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a man who stole an 85-year-old woman’s purse Friday afternoon in Crown Heights.
Authorities say the incident took place at the Food Universe Marketplace on Schenectady Avenue.
The man is accused of taking the bag and running off after the victim placed it on the counter.
Police say the purse contained credit cards and $380 in cash.
