Man, woman hurt in shooting at Friendly Deli in East Flatbush

An overnight shooting in East Flatbush sent two people to the hospital. 
According to investigators, a 31-year-old man was shot in the head and a 45-year-old woman was hit in the leg. 
It happened at around 1 a.m. outside the Friendly Deli on the corner of Church Avenue and East 48th Street. The store owner says he heard eight or nine gunshots. 
Both victims were rushed to Kings County Hospital, but their conditions are not known. 
The suspect is described as being in his 20s, about 5 feet 10 inches tall and around 175 pounds. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants and white sneakers.
