The top scorer of the Manhattan College men's basketball team has been named to the all-MAAC first team.
George Beamon not only led the conference in scoring with 18.4 points per game, but also led the Jaspers in rebounds and steals.
The last Manhattan player to receive the honor was former St. Raymond's star Peter Mulligan in 2005.
Bronx native Mike Glover also made the first team for Iona College.
