Manufacturing space will soon be available for up-and-coming fashion designers in Sunset Park.

Manufacture New York has set up shared space in the Liberty View Industrial Plaza on Third Avenue. The space is a joint venture between the city and the private sector to create jobs and provide space for small fashion startups.

Bob Bland, who owns Manufacture New York, says the space is perfect for new designers who need affordable manufacturing space.

The space is still under construction, but Manufacture New York expects to have its first tenants in by next summer.
