Construction crews placed the last beam atop the affordable housing complex at 1057 Atlantic Ave. in Bed-Stuy on Friday.
Douglaston Development says the complex will offer one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, and 137 out of the 456 units will be affordable. About two-thirds of those units will be reserved for those making an average of 60% of the area's median income.
There will also be retail space on the ground floor and a long list of amenities.
The complex, which is located off of Franklin Avenue, is a short distance from Atlantic Terminal.
Stakeholders say construction will be complete in late 2025.
