Plans for a massive new exhibit at the Coney Island Aquarium were unveiled today. The new building will house up to 40 sharks as well as sting rays, sea turtles and fish. The new exhibit plans will cost nearly $125 million, and taxpayers will foot the bill for close to $90 million. However, Mayor Bloomberg announced today that there has been a $7 million donation for the completion of the project. Construction on the project is set to begin in November.
