With the fight to stop the spread of coronavirus hitting its stride, Mayor Eric Adams was asked about plans to relax vaccine and mask mandates at businesses across the city.
Adams responded with optimism, after noting the numbers have been going down.
"I look forward in the next few weeks for a real transformation in that I don't have to wonder what you look like,” Adams said. “I will know what you look like. We are moving in the right direction. We are going to do it in a safe way. Because all these experts will tell you. We can't close down again. We can't close down again."
