Mayor Eric Adams is back in the nation's capital for the 10th time as he continues to work with federal leaders on how to face the ongoing migrant crisis.
The mayor met with congressional leaders and members of the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
According to the mayor's office, earlier this week 3,600 new migrants arrived in New York City. Adams has stated that he is looking for the federal government to pick up the city's estimated $12 billion price tag from the migrant crisis over the next three years.
