As recovery efforts enter its fifth day, Mayor Bloomberg says the biggest concern is the upcoming cold temperatures during the power outages.
The mayor says there are buses at the Disaster Assistance Center at MCU Park in Coney Island that will help people find a heated shelter tonight. About 25,000 blankets are on the way to shelters in Coney Island and around the city.
All public schools will be open Monday, except the ones that have no power, or are being used as a shelter. 80 percent of subways around the city are operating, including the 4 and 5 trains that are running again through the East River tunnels.
