A top aide to Mayor Bill de Blasio has found herself in hot water again.
Published reports say Rachel Noerdlinger, the chief of staff to New York's first lady Chirlane McCray, left about $28,000 off a 2011 tax disclosure form. Reports also claim that she and her boyfriend were arrested in 2011 after driving the wrong way in a car smelling of marijuana.
Noerdlinger first came under fire earlier this month after failing to mention her live-in boyfriend during her background check. He is allegedly a convicted killer who has reportedly blasted police on social media.
A probe by the Department of Information following the first round of scrutiny did not recommend disciplinary action, and the mayor said she has his full support.
