Medical examiner deems East New York man’s death a homicide

Police found 51-year-old Justin Tetro unconscious and unresponsive with trauma to his head inside his home just after 11 a.m. Thursday.

The New York City Office of the Chief Medical Examiner deemed an East New York man’s death a homicide.

Police found 51-year-old Justin Tetro unconscious and unresponsive with trauma to his head inside his home just after 11 a.m. Thursday.

The NYPD says officers were responding to 21 Pennsylvania Ave. for a wellness check when they made the discovery.

EMS pronounced Tetro dead at the scene.

Police say the medical examiner determined Tetro’s death a homicide the following day.
