Memorial marks 4 years since FDNY EMT’s tragic death

The 44-year-old EMT died in March 2017 after Jose Gonzalez stole Arroyo's ambulance and ran her over while he was high on drugs. He was charged with murder, manslaughter and robbery.

Tuesday marked four years since Yadira Arroyo, an EMT, was killed. 
The 44-year-old EMT died in March 2017 after Jose Gonzalez stole Arroyo's ambulance and ran her over while he was high on drugs. He was charged with murder, manslaughter and robbery.
The family is still waiting for the man to stand trial. 
The memorial was held Tuesday at White Plains Road and Watson Avenue, where the accident happened four years ago. 
Her family and colleagues remember her as a kind, compassionate and dedicated woman.
