A memorial service was held in Brighton Beach Wednesday to pay respect to the three Israeli teens found dead in the West Bank on Monday.
Eyal Yifrah, 19, and Gilad Shaar and Naftali Fraenkel, both 16, had gone missing June 12 while hitchhiking from the Jewish seminary where they were studying. The three teens were found fatally shot June 30. A funeral for all three victims was held Tuesday in Israel.
Authorities say Fraenkel had dual Israeli-American citizenship and his grandparents had moved to Israel from Flatbush in 1956. He also had extended family in Westchester.
Israel's prime minster has blamed the terrorist group Hamas for the deaths, but Hamas has denied any involvement.
