This marks the second time in program history and the first time since 1985 that Mercy has qualified for the tournament.
Based in Dobbs Ferry, the Mercy Mavericks will face off against the No. 1 seed, Bentley University, in the regional quarterfinal matchup tomorrow.
This season has been exceptional for the Mavericks, achieving their highest number of wins since the 1984-1985 season.
