A resident at a Midwood apartment building was awoken in the early hours of Wednesday to multiple men forcibly entering his apartment, according to the NYPD.
The 31-year-old tenant was struck in the head by the intruders, requiring medical attention.
Citizen App video shows EMS and NYPD lights flooding the intersection of Avenue P and East 13 Street.
EMS brought the man to Maimonides Medical Center, where he is expected to be OK.
Police say that items were taken from the apartment, but it is unclear exactly what was stolen.
