Mild weekend in NYC, mostly dry with chance for Sunday shower

Temps are due to ramp up this weekend in New York City, with some sun and clouds that could give way to a quick shower later on.
News 12 Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Darryl Green says to expect morning clouds on Saturday and a mild weekend before a light shower arrives Sunday evening.
On Saturday, there will be some morning cloudiness that’ll give way to more sun. It’ll be a mild start to the weekend with highs that could reach the low-50s. Overnight lows will be in the mid-30s.
For Sunday, it’ll be cloudy with a light shower around 5 p.m. Otherwise, it’ll remain mild with highs up to 50 degrees. Lows will be around 40 degrees.
Sunshine returns Monday with highs in the upper-40s and lows in the low-30s.
Tuesday is due to see a mix of sun and clouds, with temps dipping back to the low-40s.
Wednesday is shaping up to be the next sizable weather event. There’s a chance of precipitation — but whether it will be rain or snow is still unclear. Highs will be in the mid-30s and lows in the 20s.
Then Thursday, will Chuck or Phil see their shadow for Groundhog Day? It’ll be partly cloudy with highs in the mid-30s.
