The Bronx has its own mobile adoption center for locals to adopt a furry friend.
Residents celebrated the kickoff of the mobile adoption center Sunday at Seton Park.
Along with kittens and dogs looking to be adopted, a magician and face painters were at the kickoff party.
The mobile adoption center will make it easier for Bronx residents to adopt a pet, thanks to funding secured for the program by Sen. Jeff Klein (D-The Bronx).
The mobile center will be going around the borough a few times a week.
Sen. Klein says he is also trying to get a shelter built in the Bronx.
Three dogs and nine cats are currently up for adoption.
