Mobile vaccination buses launched earlier this month in an effort to vaccinate the most vulnerable areas.
News 12’s Jericho Tran was in Fordham Wednesday where the mobile vaccine bus distributed the vaccine to Bronx residents.
The vaccination buses are offering about 200 doses of the Moderna vaccine each day. The buses paused operation briefly last week to switch from the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
News 12 is told that two buses will be added in order to reach more residents.
The buses will visit Mott Haven, Parkchester, East Flatbush and Crown Heights over the next few weeks.
