The NYC Health Department has announced that another 19 people have tested positive for monkeypox since Thursday.
The city is now reporting a total of 160 cases so far, and according to its website, there are currently no appointments for the vaccine available.
While anyone is able to contract monkeypox, the city says that cases are most prevalent among gay and bisexual men.
There are concerns among community members in the Bronx and Brooklyn that vaccines are not readily available, and that the appointments are not being advertised properly.
