Fifty-three vehicles were towed in Brooklyn in an overnight ghost plate operation on Oct. 24, according to the New York City Sheriff's Office.
The office conducted an enforcement operation involving ghost cars within the borough from 12 a.m. to 7 a.m.
The enforcement focused on removing dangerous vehicles from operating in New York City.
