? Many Morris Park residents spoke out at a town hall meeting tonight against an Assembly redistricting plan that would break apart their community.
Under the current plan, about 5 percent of Morris Park residents, or about 6,500 residents, would move from the 80th District to the 82nd District.
Those affected live between Morris Park and Sackett avenues.
Almost everyone in attendance at tonight's meeting signed a petition asking Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D-N.Y.) to veto the current redistricting plan.
