Police say a mother driving without a license crashed into four parked cars, injuring herself and her three young children.
A police source says the woman was speeding when she turned the corner from Atlantic Avenue onto Hoyt Street. They believe she crashed first into a pole before slamming into four parked cars. Police say the woman's car flipped over and rescue workers had to cut the vehicle open to get the driver and her three young children out safely.
A witness says he could see that the young children were wearing seatbelts. All four family members, which include a 2-year-old, a 1-year-old and a 4-month-old, were hospitalized but are expected to be fine.
Police are investigating if the rain factored into the accident.
