The mother of a young boy brutally killed in Chicago is accused of misusing money donated for her son's funeral.
Police say 9-year-old Tyshawn Lee was shot a week ago because his father was reportedly connected to gangs.
Tyshawn's mom Karla received $17,000 in donations through GoFundMe.com.
But some social media users claim she spent some of that money on a new car.
Karla Lee says she did buy a car, but with her own money. Lee says $13,000 is still on her GoFundMe account.
She says the difference was spent on funeral expenses and the website's fee.
Tyshawn's funeral is scheduled for tomorrow.
Police say they are still investigating who shot him.
