Mother sues after pharmacy allegedly mistakes methadone for Ritalin
A Bronx mother is suing a pharmacy over claims a prescription mix-up nearly killed her son two months ago.
Christina Torres says her 7-year-old son, Adrinne Hernandez, stopped breathing after taking methadone, instead of Ritalin, which he was prescribed.
Torres says that Felicity Pharmacy employees mixed up the two drugs, instead giving her son synthetic heroin.
