Motorcyclists rode from Sunset Park to Coney Island in an effort to raise awareness for breast cancer.
Organizers of Ride 2 Live say the event helps raise money to treat thousands of patients each year at the Maimonides Breast Cancer Center in Brooklyn.
Dr. Patrick Borgen is a motorcycle rider and director of the Breast Cancer Program at Maimonides Medical Center.
Borgen says the event was started 10 years ago as a way to combine his two interests and to help others.
Doctors say there's still a lot of uncertainty when it comes to breast cancer and patients' knowledge about it.
The race wraps up with a car show to raise money for the center to continue providing care.
