Tyrone Hayes is picking up the pieces after an apartment fire last week that left his home destroyed and his daughter in a coma in Mott Haven.
His daughter, Carisma, was released from the hospital Tuesday night, when they woke up to chaos.
The Mitchel Houses collapsed just after 8 a.m. in Mott Haven.
Reports say an incinerator shaft on the corner of a 20-story building collapsed after a gas explosion.
"We lost everything and now just a week later the building blows up," said Tyrone Hayes.
Although Tyrone Hayes does not know what's next, he has his daughter, which he says is all that matters.
