The Divine Revelation Ministry in Mount Hope helps hundreds of residents keep food on their table each week.
The church along East 175th Street first began distributing food to families every Monday during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Pastor Randholf Andujar says the need has become greater with the rise of prices in New York City.
"So many people go to work and their paycheck is not enough that they can survive in the city,” he said. “We're thinking of those families."
Organizers say the food pantry is always looking for volunteers to help.
