The MTA bus driver accused of running down an elderly woman in Ocean Hill is expected to be back in court today.
Police say 48-year-old Paul Roper is charged with leaving the scene of an accident, failure to yield to pedestrians and failure to exercise due care.
Police say the 70-year-old woman was killed Tuesday morning as she tried to cross the street at the corner of Sackman and Fulton streets.
An MTA spokesperson says Roper has been suspended without pay, as they investigate.
