Waiting and wondering will soon be a thing of the past for Bronx bus riders as the MTA begins rolling out its new timing system.
The program uses GPS technology to help commuters locate and track more than 1,000 buses in real time throughout the borough and straight from their cell phones.
All borough buses will have the GPS units installed by the end of this year. The program is already in place in Staten Island and is expected to be citywide by the end of 2013.
