Wednesday marked the first of several upcoming open houses the MTA is hosting across the city to speak with MTA customers about their newly proposed Brooklyn bus network redesign.
MTA employees were in Coney Island speaking with commuters on the new proposed local and express bus routes in their area. The MTA says these could be the future for many different bus routes in the borough.
Riders got a chance to provide feedback on these draft plans, and commuters stopped to take a look at the maps, asking questions about specifics and voicing what they think will work and what won’t.
The MTA says there will be four more in-person events in Brooklyn over the coming weeks.
