The city's Parks Department is offering assistance to those still looking to get rid of their Christmas trees.
Dozens of volunteers signed up to participate in the 20th annual MulchFest at different locations throughout the city.
Residents are encouraged to bring down their trees, which will then be put into a wood chipper.
Volunteers can take home a bag of mulch for their personal gardens.
The Parks Department says MulchFest is a great way to get the community involved in being eco-friendly. The event continues Sunday.
The different chipping locations can be found on the Parks Department website.
