The Harry S. Truman Mustangs kept their undefeated record intact with a weekend win over Erasmus Hall on the Brooklyn team's home turf.
The game was tied at 7 in the first quarter. In the second quarter, Truman's Hector Sanabria ran 20 yards to score a touchdown, giving the Bronx team a 14-7 lead. Truman running back Malik Williams later helped lead his team to victory with a 50-yard touchdown. Williams had 294 yards and three touchdowns on the day.
Truman improved its record to 3-0 with a 40-20 win over Erasmus.
The team is led by John Sheppard, who took over after Brian Williams stepped down.
