Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman is ending a pandemic-relief program that sends residents a one time payment of $375.
According to a letter sent to legislative leaders, the Household Assistance Program is ending in May due to "extremely low participation."
The program was created to provide financial relief for residents struggling through the pandemic.
All applications submitted prior to May 15 will be processed.
