It is the season of giving and receiving and the National Basketball Players Association is making it easier to give back.
The association kicked off Black Friday with its 14 Days of Giving program, featuring Brooklyn Nets player Blake Griffin.
Throughout the next two weeks, the NBPA’s bus will be popping up all over the city. Participants will be entered to win a giveaway. Every day there will be different giveaways and prizes ranging from NBA players’ favorite products and brands to a chance to have a meet and greet with players.
“I’m here on behalf of Google and the NBPA. I’m here to support Black-owned businesses and turn Black Friday into Black-owned Friday. This is the bus, come check us out,” says Griffin.
This Friday’s theme was Black-owned businesses. Each day of the 14-day program will have a different theme with 240 giveaways.
