Neighbors say Fort Greene Park bathroom is unclean, hasn't been upgraded in decades
One of the bathrooms at Fort Greene Park is allegedly so filthy, one resident says she will go home before using it.
Residents tell News 12 the bathroom hasn't been upgraded in decades. The side of the park the bathroom is located faces NYCHA developments, like Walt Whitman and the Ingersoll Houses.
Residents say they believe that side of the park has been neglected because it's predominately used by people of color.
The other bathroom, some say, looks like a museum, but it's also at the top of a steep flight of stairs, making it nearly impossible for handicapped people. Residents say they are fed up and want equal treatment, which means redoing the bathroom.
Neighbors say they avoid using this bathroom as often as possible.
