Residents near the scene of a violent car crash Friday say they want a four-way stop sign or a new traffic light there.
Neighbors say cars speed down Sutter Avenue, giving little chance for drivers on Autumn Avenue to react where the two roads intersect, creating a safety hazard.
Sources say seven people were hurt in a T-bone crash at the intersection last week. City data shows another two injuries there last year.
“I’m afraid of any of my community members dying over a car accident,” says David Maldonado, a community and religious leader.
The Department of Transportation did not immediately respond to a News 12 request for comment.
