The Williamsburg Northside schools just opened its newest building designed around the needs of their students and curriculum.
The new school is called the Lower School and is located on North 7th Street. The nine-story private school has a basketball court, two terraces overlooking Brooklyn and Manhattan, an enormous library and 14 classrooms.
All Williamsburg Northside schools use the Reggio Emilia approach, meaning that children help make the curriculum, and the environment helps inspire their learning.
It took them only nine months to build the new school, which serves 150 children.
