City health officials: COVID-19 cases on the rise as new variant emerges
240ds agoNYC Health + Hospitals has started an aftercare program to connect patients suffering long-term COVID-19 symptoms with proper physical care, mental care, community resources and financial help.
It is a partnership with the city’s Test and Trace Corps. They are reaching out to past patients in their system who reported not feeling 100% recovered after their quarantine and isolation periods.
Officials tell News 12 if anyone is experiencing long-term symptoms, they can reach out to the aftercare program online.
