Whether you wear them on your jacket or stick them on your bag, a new shop in Brooklyn is serving lovers of pins.
Pintrill sells everything from vintage mementos to current pop culture accessories.
It began as an online shop set up by three Brooklyn friends. They've now opened a shop in Williamsburg that marks their first brick-and-mortar venture.
Co-founder Jordan Roschwalb says the company's success is driven by the wide appeal of pins. "It's really an any-age type item, you can be young, you can be old, but everybody can get enjoyment out of a pin," Roschwalb says.
Pintrill has partnered with denim-maker Levi's so that pin lovers can customize their clothes. The store is also offering classes for customers who want to learn the art of pin making.
