Some streets in the Bronx are a little cleaner, thanks to a new citywide initiative.The department of Small Business Services teamed up with the Bronx Business Alliance to have people in a transitional worker program sweep sidewalks and pick up trash five days a week.The project, called NYC Clean Streets, is under way in the commercial districts of Kingsbridge Road and the Grand Concourse in the Bronx.Mayor Bloomberg has set aside $1.6 million for the project over the next two years.
