City Officials say the new signs on 5th Avenue and Boerum Hill are finished and in effect for all bikers, pedestrians, and drivers.
Officials say the purpose of these signs is to warn cyclists, pedestrians, and drivers that there is only one lane and they must share it.
Although they are glad the city is taking an initiative, many cyclists say they are skeptical and do not think these signs will have an effect on traffic or accidents on the street.
