Streets in the New Utrecht and Bensonhurst neighborhoods in Brooklyn are experiencing damages from a recent downburst of wind reaching up to 60 mph.

Streets were flooded with traffic as multiple trees came down in the area along Bay Ridge Parkway. The FDNY says they were called to the parkway after 3 p.m. where they discovered that some traffic lights in the area were without power.

New York City Office of Emergency Management commissioner Zach Iscol held a press conference with officials from the FDNY on the damages in the area.

The sidewalk and pedestrian crosswalk sign near the intersection of Bay Ridge Parkway and 18th Avenue both suffered damages as well.

No resident power outages have been reported.
