New video: Baby raccoons rescued from storm drain in Yonkers
While the incident happened last spring, it's the first time the video has been released.

5h agoYonkers police say officers and a good Samaritan rescued three baby raccoons on Spring Road.
While the incident happened last spring, it's the first time the video has been released.

The rescuers used some tools and muscle to remove at least two of the baby raccoons from drowning in a storm drain.
They were able pull the animals out and move them to the side of the road.
A third baby raccoon was also rescued off camera before they were reunited with their mother.
