Mayor Michael Bloomberg unveiled a new Web site Thursday that will allow residents to keep track of the city?s agencies.
The site, called Citywide Performance Reporting (CPR), provides information on more than 40 of the city?s agencies. CPR is broken down by themes such as education and social services. The data will be compared to the previous year and serve as a potential warning sign for areas that need improvement or further monitoring.
Bloomberg said that CPR will promote transparency and serve as a way to measure the performance of the agencies.
The Web site will be updated monthly.
