Police say they responded to a 911 call about a bomb threat made to the Corteylou Library on Saturday in Brooklyn.
The New York Post says this was moments before nonprofit group Drag Story Hour NYC was scheduled to read books to kids.
New York Attorney General Letitia James responded to the incident saying, "Our families go to Drag Story Hour to have fun and get our kids excited about reading. Terrorizing them with bomb threats is disgusting, and we're not going to stay silent in the face of bigotry and hate."
No injuries were reported, and the city's bomb squad came out to evacuate the library. The area was deemed safe after their investigation.
