New York City and state task force operations have been cracking down on toll evaders as well as drivers with fake or obstructed license plates.

An enforcement operation was held on Aug. 7 at the Cross Bay and Marine Parkway bridges.

Authorities say it resulted in 14 arrests, 25 impounded vehicles and 380 summonses.

Vehicles were impounded for numerous violations including unpaid tolls, lack of registration and suspended licenses.
