The lines at testing sites across the city are becoming long as COVID-19 cases continue to rise.
More than 100 people lined down the block for a single testing van in Crown Heights. They told News 12 they waited for hours, with the line only moving a couple feet each hour. They said city officials need to step up and do more.
As the new omicron variant spreads, health officials said that the seven-day average for virus cases has tripled within the last month.
The rush to travel for the holiday and the rise in cases are now being observed in the long wait times at testing sites.
