New York's COVID-19 infection rate is on the rise, according to recent data.
Around 666 more people tested positive on Saturday, bringing the state’s infection rate to 1.02%.
This includes 103 Long Islanders who tested positive. The Island’s rate sits just below 1%.
There was also one COVID-19 related death in the state on Saturday.
