They say teamwork makes the dream work, right?
Two creative women who call Brooklyn home are utilizing skills they learned throughout their various careers.
Together, they are pooling their knowledge to make our borough better.
Meet Dina Rabiner, vice president of Economic Development and Strategic Partnerships at Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce.
She has been working for the chamber for four years and helped bring initiatives, like a female mentorship program to the table.
Another initiative she helped create is Brooklyn Made Stores.
People might be familiar with the store located in the Citypoint Mall in Downtown Brooklyn.
Gabrielle Napolitano is the director of partnerships and communications at Brooklyn Made Stores and is the designer of the brand’s logo.
The two work together to give new opportunities to artists and makers in Brooklyn, and this month, they are highlighting women creatives for Women’s History Month.
"From the beginning of my career to now it's great to see more of a level playing field," says Rabiner.
"We need more women in the field, and I love that I can relate to other women," says Napolitano.
